Why Beauty Pros Are Mad About ChatGPT (And Why They’re Missing Out)
Share
Let’s talk about something that’s been making waves in the beauty industry lately—ChatGPT.
Yep. That AI chatbot some people love, some fear, and others totally ignore. And if you're in the beauty world and not using it yet... you might be missing out on one of the most helpful tools for your business.
I recently uploaded a full YouTube video sharing my thoughts on why beauty professionals are hesitant to use ChatGPT, how I personally use it in my business, and why it’s been a total game-changer for me as an esthetician, spa owner, and educator.

So… Why Are Some Beauty Pros Mad About It?
There’s a bit of a stigma in our industry when it comes to using AI. Some feel like it’s cheating. Some worry it removes the authenticity from their content. And some just aren’t sure how to even begin using it.
I get it. We're artists. We work with our hands, our hearts, and our energy. But here’s the thing: ChatGPT isn’t here to replace that. It's here to support us—especially when we're burnt out from clients, content creation, admin, and everything else on our plate.
Here’s How I Actually Use ChatGPT:
🧠 When I have a content idea and I need help putting it into words
📣 When I want help writing a caption that connects with my audience
🧾 When I need to draft a policy or email and want it to sound professional
🪄 When I’m stuck with formatting a blog (like this!)
📚 When I’m creating educational material or outlines for my mentorship students
It’s never writing for me without direction. It’s taking my idea, my energy, my message, and helping me format it in a way that’s clear and compelling. It saves me time and helps me stay present with the things that matter most—my clients and my creativity.
Social Media Is Part of the Job Now
Let’s be real—social media isn’t optional anymore if you want a thriving beauty business. It’s how clients find us, connect with us, and decide to book with us. But after a long day of facials or business tasks, sitting down to write captions or blog posts can feel impossible.
That’s where ChatGPT steps in. Think of it like your creative assistant, ready to help you brainstorm, polish, and stay consistent.
Bottom Line?
If you're a beauty professional, you don’t have to do it all alone. Tools like ChatGPT are here to lighten the load—not take over your brand.
Your voice and vision still matter. This just helps you show up with more clarity and less stress.
